A leader's face, blurred except for the eyes, framed in a sage window
A podcast for leaders

Life can be a blur.

The skill is choosing where to look.

Brett Patten and Kaitlin Beck talk with executives, founders, coaches and boards about what they saw in hindsight, so you can see it sooner and lead well for longer.

The idea

Every leader gets an early signal. The best learn to read it.

The signals show up early: a shorter fuse, a quieter team, a call that keeps moving to next week. Spotted then, they are easy to act on, and that is when good leaders become great ones.

See It Sooner turns hindsight into foresight. We sit down with leaders from sport, business and public life and ask what they would have seen sooner if they had known where to look. Then we share our own.

Every episode: notice, name, act.

Your hosts

Why we started this.

We have both spent our careers beside leaders at their best. Brett in boardrooms, change rooms, on air and in his psychology practice. Kaitlin inside the businesses she grows with. The leaders who go the distance read the signs early and have the words to act on them. See It Sooner shares those words so every leader can lead well for longer.
